Drakeford and Welsh NHS

No i didn’t either.

I wonder why this question and answer thing on a discussion forum causes other grown men to go apoplectic.

ATB max.
Ha ha, come on just using that word apoplectic, is a bit extreme. You have previous form for trolling, you put me and the good doctor, through sheer hell over tampax machines in the gents toilets.

He's just looking for a reaction to my earlier question about his behaviour online.

Anyway on the subject of the NHS, a workmat of my Mrs was told that she needed an emergency operation to remove her Gallbladder last Monday and she still hasn't had it done and they are just keeping her comfortable , disgusting,
We are waiting currently waiting for a consultation for a pre op on my youngest for him to have his removed, but he has very complex needs so that is a real issue and worry, seems like he's been suffering pain today since the early hours, his stomach is really extended and hard.
We have a telephone appointment on Tuesday and a face to face appointment on Wednesday regarding this issue, so hopefully something will happen after that, not sure if he'll have to have an evasive op of a keyhole op which will be the safest option for him. but with time going on I'm not so sure, but its got to done before it cases other problems if it hasn't already, NHS is a shambles at the minute and we got the senedd wasting 10's of millions on vanity projects.
Jesus christ! Sending my best wishes Max.
Look after Mrs Max when she comes out and your lad when he has his done.

Fingers crossed you get somewhere this week. 🫶🏼

My Mrs is fine Jaxx, just the youngest has the problem, its the Mrs workmate who is having her gall bladder removed, hope she's had it done this weekend, but we don't know, she's been quite ill with it though.

I hope it gets sorted for your son, sooner rather than later,

Really, I thought you owned me? I only asked you why it bothered you so much and you went off on one. Funny how the wagons are circling again. There may be trolling here but it certainly ain’t coming from me. 👍

NHS ability to cope?

And there is the statisticians prediction based upon past, current and future figures (906,000 net in one year alone under the Tories) that the U.K's population will in the future have risen by a staggering TWENTY MILLION since Blair came into power.

Add to that the current Labour government and its stated intent (I guess it'll be higher) to bring in another TWO AND A HALF MILLION over the next couple of years during its parliamentary tenure.

So the gist is? A population increase equal to a total population sum of EIGHTY SWANSEA's is sure going to affect both the U.K and Welsh NHS with a fiscal resources and manpower catastrophe.....We are watching a country dig its own grave!!!!

The issue is an ageing population ffs!! How many times do you anti immigration types need to be told.

The money is being spent on an increasingly elderly population. The birth rate in this country has never been lower.

It’s simple mathematics in terms of tax take. I’m not a big fan of large scale migration but unless we all start breeding more or we start having more serious conversations about the limits to NHS then we will have more people coming in.

It’s old people mate. Old people. Please try to get your head out of the mail/sun/express and think

And to add more to this on immigration more specifically when we had freedom of movement we had young hungry productive people coming in. But thanks to Brexit we have fewer European migrants who are mobile and have more non EU migrants who are more likely to be a net drain. Great job lads.

You may be shocked about the proven correlation regarding a significant population rise (local or national level) and a G.P surgery's ability to cope, along with a well respected G.P association representative appearing on TV stating (an obvious fact!) the catastrophic consequences of a TEN MILLION POPULATION INCREASE upon G.P services.

When? He stated that at the very same time this was happening NHS G.P service retention was in crisis and G.P's were going part time in their droves..... And then there's NHS dentist's, hospitals and many other etcetera's

Never mind? let's have another ten million in! "Righty Tighty Lefty Loosey" LOL
