I see "progressive passing" has reared its ugly head again.
Your semi-regular reminder about what constitutes a "progressive pass":
So, for example, say you have a defensive midfielder who parks his arse between your centre halves for 90 mins, and fires wholly insignificant 10-metre passes to his mate on the halfway line, who then gives it back to him, and then he does it again, he's just completed two "progressive passes".

a pass that's at least 10 meters long and moves the ball at least 25% of the remaining distance to the goal
