In an imaginary world were they do get promoted. Grimes will get eaten apart in the Premier league. He won't be able to hide behind his slow pace walk when the team starts to lose and his back passing. If he thinks he can barely get away with that in championship, he will get found out fast with the pace of Premier league. Either way, agreed its gonna hurt them in long term.
Yes he’s just made him undroppable like Potter and his successors. Coventry fans will soon realize this and churn their guts before games then suffer the mild disappointment of watching their captain just potter around the centre back positions during matches not strictly doing anything. I likened him to the foreman’s favourite for keeping his workbench neat and tidy but disliked by his shop floor colleagues because he wasn’t actually doing anything……..
Well if you’re asking us to ignore the evidence of our own eyes……..Frank lampard one of the premier leagues most decorated midfielders ever....im pretty sure majority of people would take his opinion on what makes a good midfielder/captain than a group of spectators from the stands.
