Season 20/21: The Official Cardiff City v Swansea City Match Thread

My IPTV provider and about 95% of his userbase are scum fans... I just thanked him on the group chat for the service he provides and for allowing me to witness a battering in glorious high definition 👌🏻🦢

No replies yet 🤷‍♂️

I missed the first half but the second was one of the easiest I have seen in a derby game

Ralls is as stupid as McPhail was all those years ago, why would you dive in having already been booked. If Moore is out for a while they will miss him as he is so key to the style that they play but thank f*** we don't have to watch that week in week out as they really are dreadful.

2nd place at least for a couple of hours.

First half even easier. They created zilch.

A little disappointed not to absolutely humiliate them in terms of the score line to be honest.... we were that much better than them.

I'm obviously happy with the result but as you say we should have pummeled them into the ground especially after the second goal.

It's all going great for cooper atm but after the second goal he should have put dhanda on then given it 5/10 mins then put palmer on, those two would have given us an attacking edge and put them on the back foot, we would have created more chances.

Sorry for being a tad negative fellas.

Dar obviously hasnt got his specs on.

I said as much to a few Cardiff fans when they were promoted the last time - change tack - employ a more progressive manager, blood the youngsters, give them PL experience, play a more passing game and even after relegation kick on. I really am amazed that as a club they just can't/won't see it. Anyway, who cares really - we're on track (I think)!

If they are cart horses though I feel its a more than adequate description.

I was talking about this with a couple of people this morning. Based on the squad we have then we are playing above what most managers could get out of this team

The simple fact is we have conceded just 10 goals in 18 games, whilst we aren't free scoring we will get alot of points with that kind of defence and half the time we don't really look like conceding

Cracking post match interview (Sky Sports) from Coops. Spoke very well about the fans, Lowe and mindset.

I know what you are saying FB, but we are becoming a consistent team, secure at the back and scoring probably 1 in 5 chances. To score more, you pay more which isn't us yet. My late dad always used to say the best sides are built from the back, and this set up has all the hallmarks of consistency and progress. Stability is what we need, and for me, we HAVE to keep Cooper. I didn't imagine myself saying that 6 months ago mind, albeit I saw green shoots.

Cooper's bumper pay rise needs to be doubled. And his xmas bonus.

Has achieved so much in so little time and against all odds.

Karma to see his biggest and dumbest critics now lauding his performances. Be interesting to see whether those who've continually slagged him off are in the stadium to witness the double, despite pledging to never return. Fickle fackers.

"Cooper Out" tvvats, fack off. You know who you are.

I'd like to think I've been one of his louder supporters over the last 18 months or so, but coming on the forum to point score after we've just battered our rivals for 90 minutes?... Bizarre.
