Cullen as a lone striker to run them ragged. Easy win.

Nothing wrong with a level of optimism!

Sunday's Ref Is Tony Harrington

The referee has taken charge of 9 Championship games so far this season, issuing 24 yellow cards in the process and one red card - sending off Preston's Joseph Rafferty in the 44th minute of their 3-0 home defeat against Blackburn on Tuesday night.

He has taken charge of the Swans once this season - our 2-1 home defeat to Huddersfield where he awarded us a penalty which was duly converted by Ayew. He issued five yellow cards in the fixture - four of them to Huddersfield players.

He also took charge of Forest's home derby game against Derby where he gave out two yellow cards to Forest, none to the opposition.

His yellow card tally last season of 70 (from 26 games) was the second lowest of any Championship referee who took charge of 20 games or more.

However, Jake Bidwell was sent off by the referee towards the end of last season's 0-0 draw at Ashton Gate with Cooper saying after the match "It's a poor decision isn't it. We don't agree with it

"We've looked at it already on the broadcast visuals and on the wide angles. Looking at the position of it and how far out it is from goal and the actual tackle, don't get me wrong, it's a foul, it's as yellow as they come, but to send him off is a bit of a weak decision, a weak mentality."

The decision though was upheld after an appeal by the Swans.

skipped thru it, does he actually mention that they are playing us at all ?

Playing on a decent surface can only help. Ayew back fit n firing be the difference. First of back to back away games, fancy us to win at least one. Away win 1-2.

Incredibly tight in the top 10 even by Championship standards, it's our 14th game tomorrow, our away form is up there with the best in this (or any other) division...

Tomorrow is our chance to firmly plant our flag in the automatic promotion ground.

Onwards and Upwards 🖤🤍

Yup, everyone that is supposed to be doing it are doing it. It can’t continue like that though, let’s just hope it doesn’t happen to us.

Comments from Korey Smith

The club hasn't won after the international break for a long time, so four points after the international break is a good return. We'll take the positives,” said the midfielder, who suffered a nasty cut to his calf against the Owls.

We didn't give up in midweek, we kept going and played some good stuff in the second half. We will look to carry that on into Sunday.

We believe in ourselves. You've got to tire teams out, it's never going to be easy because our opponents have top players as well.

You have to be prepared to battle, and I think we are showing that we are.

We're always confident in our ability and we'll go into Sunday full of confidence. Hopefully, we can get the three points.
