• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Cullen has always scored goals whenever he’s been given the opportunity. Manager after manager have showed faith in him and I’ve never understood why our lot are so quick to write him off. His goals per minutes played ratio must be pretty respectable.

Looking a bit better today and Nathan Wood must have surprised himself a couple of times. Let’s see how we cope when Brizzle pile on. I suspect we will probably collapse within five mins of the restart, after Russ’s inspirational half time team talk.

He seems to do better at the moment when he doesn't have time to think about it and has to take chances first time, but composure with time on the ball will come with first team experience.

Wood finding himself with the ball at his feet inside the 18 yard box. Doesn't feel qualified to shoot so he passed it off to Manning who to be fair put in a cracking ball which maybe Piroe should have been more alert for.
If you watch a replay of that, you'll see it didn't open up for him to shoot, there were two or three wurzels in close attendance. He did the right thing sliding it to Manning. If he'd have shot if the opportunity had presented itself, we'll never know 😂

He has assisted 3 chances, had a shot on target and played a key role in the goal with the dinked cross field pass to Ntcham.
Besides also providing a constant out ball for the defenders and midfield I am not sure what else you want from him to say he's been superb :?:

It was a good move, but Ntcham had a bit of luck with his ball control using his back

I'll stick with my comment on Walsh though, hope he continues in the same vane for the second half, I may say he was superb myself then ;)

Really need a second. Even though we seem totally in control, I'm on pins

I wouldn't bring bloody Paterson on now. If he takes Walsh off he's a twat.

Edit, it's Cullen. OK. Piroe up top.

We've missed two golden opportunities now. You just know they'll score with their first chance.

Especially with Weimann on the pitch, loves scoring against us, surprised to see Cullen go off,

Thank god they are shooting straight at the fish. Although that's not always good for us.

That looked a 100% a penalty. Good thing they never get them!
