• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I'm just trying to put in some perspective....take a look at tonight's opposition....let's see how we fare Saturday....its not about Cooper....but be fair it is men against boys tonight...so let's not run away with ourselves but onward and upward

Some perspective is fair enough. But it's time to move on and be optimistic.

I have no clue about the Reading team but only 3 of our players are over 22 I believe, so men against boys seems a stretch

I wish I could have watched this game but the stats are hugely encouraging

Most of our 18 are under 23 so that argument is over

Miserable cnt. The jacks are back babaaaay

Lot of iron y in this game.

3 nil up it would be Fe lony if we lost.

You can only beat what's in front of you and a win is a win and great for a new team and manager to gain confidence... Winning is a habit. I know it's gunna hurt some of our fans on here but suck it up. CooperWang is history thank fack.

Well done to the team and manager, onwards and upwards.

OK, the opposition wasn't great but we've often struggled in these matches.
Possession - 73
Passes - 564
Accuracy - 90
goals - 3
Travelling Jacks 100%

It is all about Cooper for you though it seems unfortunately.

As someone said, most of this side we have out are kids, and they have a manager who finally wants to let them express themselves.

Also - fair dos to the travelling jacks. Noisy all night.

20 shots at goal, seven on target. Coops would have had them in for extra training tomorrow to drill that nonsense straight out of them.
men against boys though.....literally

Last year we took our first team to Newport and lost 2-0 after a typical tentative approach. This was half our first team and they’ve got our fans going nuts. Gold that is. Doesn’t matter who the opposition is, we’ve gone about it the right way.
