Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City v Burnley FC | The EFL Championship

‘Squad isn’t good enough regardless of the manager’ surprise.

Hopefully we can at least make a slight effort in the second half because that was unbelievably bad. Burnley aren’t even trying after going 2 up.

Awful,

Get Ronald off, Cullen and Vipotnik. Bring on Ginnelly (or Sam Parker), Bianchini and Cooper.

Get Gino, Parker,s and cooper on at ht, Ron eom and Cullen get the hook

The second goal - watch how LOB was just strolling around aimlessly

What we need is a proper Captain in that space that takes responsibility.

LOB is looking ever more like the 40k mercenary who'd rather be oop north right now - such the contrast to what we're accustomed to
Bizarre vendetta you’ve got against him. The alternative is Fulton, so think on. 😂

Have the last few weeks been a dream ? Luke must still in be charge, surely ? That performance. No subs HT.

?

For someone on x2 what Matty was on, I'd expect at least x2 impact, control and output from a Prem League Player.

However - The thing is - we have regressed into a nothing team, with no identity, no control, no command.

Folk ought to focus on what we can now do to regain what we lost when Matty moved on.

You keep talking about LOB.

Have you checked in the mirror lately??

We're missing something today. Something like a marauding centre-midfield player, someone who brings everyone around him to an elite level and inspires those on the field with him - leading them on as a true captain, akin to a Roy Keane or Paulo Maldini. Someone who picks up the ball and instantly picks out positive, forward passes - creating chances when we need them most; someone like Xavi or Scholes.

We need someone like Matthew Grimes of Coventry City.
