What do you think, out of interest, ‘defund the police’ means? In a US context and particularly in a U.K. context. Would it surprise you to know that many senior police agree?

In theory you don’t think it’s a good idea in the PL/EFL making a stand and flushing out the racists then?
As things stand at the moment racists are able to hide behind the BLM knee association.
Changing it means they won’t.

I’ve told people in our support before that unless they stop immediately I’m having them thrown out . Not enough do. For every one that shouts about ‘black this and black that’ or make monkey noises there are another half dozen that snigger and a dozen more that turn away and pretend it didn’t happen.

Same in the pub. A racist comment rarely gets greeted with others saying stop it now or get out. People may not join in, but many are not active enough in stopping it. Same with creepy blokes about women, homophobia, people making comments about disability. It’s all just ‘banter’ after all. The loudmouth scum should be shouted down far more frequently.

Lis have a day off ffs. This knee is going nowhere and the PL/EFL have the opportunity to lead the way here and do something momentous to stop anyone saying there’s an association to the BLM.
