• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The massive news is that as said earlier Labuschagne has signed for another 2 years.

It's like owning a Lamborghini on a beans on toast lifestyle, our batting looks rosey, our bowling less so...

Even worse next season. Hogan going home - Marnus and Neser on Ashes duty. Ingram and Glamorgan stalling on a new contract.

So without a shadow of a doubt we need to replace hogan. I think we thought it might be Harris but this season has told us otherwise. We will need a top quality strike bowler to lead the attack and given that we have marnus and neser on the books that person would ideally be England qualified. I was amazed that we signed northeast, can we do it again, gotta be someone quick and accurate, I quite like Ben raine or Chris wright, someone like that!

Could be 5 down, dropped catch too.
Swinging a fair bit though.

Massive toss to win, Middlesex were always going to produce a juicey wicket, this probably won't hit the 3rd day either...
