Feeling genuine optimism now and looking forward to games.
Since that crazy 3-3 game vs Luton a month ago we have looked a different side. Losing 3-1 to Fulham is no embarrassment
In theory we could rise to 8th place on Saturday but that is incredibly unlikely. Still Brum are on a bit of a bad run at the moment so hopefully we can keep our momentum going

Hadn't realised what a poor run Birmingham are on until I just checked. Since beating Derby on 10th September, they have played 7 games, drawn 2 & lost 5, scored 1 & conceded 13 and haven't scored at all in their last 6 games. Without being too overconfident, sounds like a pretty good time to be playing them after the few days we've just had.

What makes it even worse for them Karnataka, is that their single goal was from a penalty. So that's 10 hours 30 minutes without a goal in open play: whatever has gone wrong with Troy Deaney?

I am enjoying it now because it might not look so good or Saturday night, but then it might look better.

I forget who is bottom, one of those small teams that really doesn't belong at this level.

I think this will be an interesting snapshot of where we are in terms of progression. Last seasons injury time defeat after a toothless performance was a low point. I cant see how we can play any worse.
