The only criticism, for me, is that Cooper didn't accept any responsibility there. Even if he didn't feel he had responsibility (which he clearly didn't), he should have mentioned it, to ease pressure on the players.what goes on then behind closed doors is another matter.Swans TV News said:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0WUUxmcDQ4

All part of his learning curve, hopefully.
Edit: this would have also shown a "collective" approach. One question I wish someone would have asked, is after accepting the extreme congestion of games, which he's mentioned a few times, why play the same starting 11, especially given they didn't perform well in midweek. Even if they had played well, there's still very good reason to rotate. The defeat today would have been more understandable had he made changes to the starting 11 for those reasons.

Quite agree A4. I hope Cooper can reflect, and honestly appraise his own performance before and during the game. He has done so much so well this season, and if he truly adopts a continuous improvement approach, he and we will be just fine. If not, then well...A4Jack said:Jinxy said:The only criticism, for me, is that Cooper didn't accept any responsibility there. Stand out for me is the “if you’re tired you just get on with it” comment or something along those lines
I get that with a thin squad but Cooper wanted depth and that’s what he’s got. He has been afforded a backup right back, two international forwards, a bright young striker and a gifted attacking midfielder, only one of whom he has used regularly since signing in the January window.
This is not including Latibeaudiere, Manning who were signed to add competition and depth in the summer

I get a load of grief because I say I don';t like Cooper ... one of the main reasons I don;t like Cooper is he never takes responsibility when the chips are down or there's been a reverse in fortunes but will go fisting all over the place when we win.

Didn’t he stop the ‘fisting’ thing like 10-15 games into his first season?
He seems fairly level-headed to me. Praises the team when we win and deflects the pressure when we lose.
