Well if you’re happy for him to continually score our only goal that’s fine, unfortunately the opposition has scored four as a result of the midfield being missing in action.

He's been missing in action except for one free kick. It was the same in the week. He's gone from playing practically zero football to 2 games a week, so I wonder if that's starting to show. The goals are welcome of course, especially as Ayew and Lowe have dried up again.

the same as siggy, did nothing for large periods of a game and scores a screamer

If you ignore our result, it was actually a pretty good day. Reading, Bmuff, Brentford all lost. We lost ground on Narch. Depending on how we react there may be minimal harm done(Morris injury excepted)

'we are always going to lose a game.' Yes but its the manner of the last two performances and knowing brentford had lost. This was a golden opportunity with all of brentford, bmuff, reading losing and we play like this? To fckin hfield who havent won since December? It is shambolic. Add to the fact our marquee signing is out for the season and front two couldn't hit a barn door it is reasonable to be worried.

That said.. what do we Wednesday? This midfield 3 does not work - grimes and smith with hourihane at 10. Manning for Bidwell who has been horrific for week and Whittaker and Arriola for ayew and lowe now morris if crocked.

We never do things the easy way.

For me the loss of a high confidence Cullen, and Routs is worse than losing Morris. We have no idea if he is really any good. I hope it’s not that bad though, as it would be nice to find out.

Poor day in the end. Oh well never mind, at least there’s no masked singer.

I am fine thanks , having afew issues after having the Con mans Jab, but nothing serious!

weve been struggling for weeks winning by the odd/late goal, and our opponents have screwed a few chances , thats how football is.

Best wishes to you.
I am gutted today. We won't be feared now.

It's always the Swansea way to elevate us to false sense of hope.
We've too many loan players for continuity anyway.
I suppose we punch above our weight and then when we lose to a side 15 places below us we can't take it.

Ah well. No chance of automatic promotion after this s**t shock.

Its down to the players now, sharp shock , heads up ar£e down, and full steam ahead.

A bad day at the office, let’s move on.

This is it for me - a day when nothing worked. We have immediate chances to bounce back, the strength of this team will be visible on Wednesday.

We saw what happened to Brentford when they eventually lost one, we must make sure we do not repeat those mistakes.

We are still in pole position to go up.

Exactly, we’ve still got two games in hand over Brentford and Watford with only a point behind, big few days ahead for our management team to get the players motivated for the next game on Wednesday.

MATCH REPORT

Well, that was a dreadful afternoon at the office. Not only did we slump to our worst defeat of the season by losing 4-1 to Huddersfield we lost Jordan Morris to what looked like a serious injury. It is one not to dwell on but we need a performance in midweek against Coventry and the less said about today the better.

Good shout that Llew... Voice of reason as always.

Bad day at the office. Coops should have freshened the team up a bit. Did Ok first half but then collapsed in the second. Not helped by a worldy shot and one through the legs unsighting Freddie.
Poor Jordan's injury put the tin hat on it. Felt sorry for Brentford but our luck was been worse. Norwich and Watford must be pissing themselves.
Onwards and upwards though we could be going through our bad patch now. Best to get it over with for the big push later on if that is the case.

Without wishing to be disrespectful to the injured fellow, we have lost someone who has ACTUALLY contributed nothing to our campaign, as opposed to Hourihane who is just accused of contributing nothing. Its possible we have lost someone who could been useful though.

Beaten and outplayed by a better team ...
Nothing in midfield ... again.
Same side that was awful on Wednesday ... still awful.
Schooled by a side 20th position.
The only difference from many previous games for me was Huddersfield hit the net with their chances where others have missed the target.
Naughton is not a CB and he destroys the balance -- full back yes, CB ... no.
Bennett needs Cabango.
Guehi needs Roberts and Fulton to do more defending.
Grimes needs dropping,
Hourihane needs to show more industry.
Our tactics are generally poor, little imagination and no pace.
We have won games from stout defence and flashes of individual brilliance. Today the talk before the game was Huddersfield would be in our faces ... were they? I thought our effort was lame, passing was shocking and closing down almost non-existent.
Really disappointed but not surprised with the result.
It's just one game, no need to panic! No, it's how we have played for much of the season.

Pains me to say it but you make some good points there, specially the Naughton one, very strange pick by Steve.
