• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Remember that day well - arrived after the first goal went in having been caught up in the slowest police escort ever (well, until the one in Naples anyway!)

Just out of interest, which bus were you on in Naples, Phil? I was on the one from Sorrento that Jim White had organised, was it that one? Hell of a day that was!

No we came on the one from Rome - it was organised by a travel company but for the life of me I cant remember their name - we were the second bus into the ground I think in the end - just remember sprinting up to make sure we didn't miss as much as everyone else

Ah, right, I believe our bus was first to arrive about an hour before KO but I do recall it was a long time before anyone else arrived.

Just for the memory, here's a pic of Jim & his Mrs, as you can see, pretty sparse before everyone else arrived

You were definitely one of the lucky ones - think some didnt make it to close on half time. Good guy is Jim

Can we stream this one? I have a club email which says "Swansea City’s Championship clash with Bristol City is available to our UK and international fans on SwansTV Live this afternoon (3pm UK time)" but I can't see a pass available to UK fans, just overseas fans?

I thought Cullen did enough in the last game to start this match.

Bit of a defensive look about that team,,,,,,Swansea Way?

I get that we should tread carefully early doors but ffs two strikers on the bench and none in the starting eleven🙄

I dread to think what they have paid for that "privilege"
