Cabango off. Darling off. Cundle off. Start with that.

Did I see Naughton on the pitch???

Where’s Obafemi and Cooper?

The site of Cabango desperately panicking to pass inside when he’s on the halfway line with half an acre of space to run in to on the Preston half shows what we’re about tonight. Utter tripe.

I’m watching on the Preston stream. They almost sound in shock at how appalling we’ve been.

Our defence is all over the place especially on the right the Cabango/Lati combo doesn't work at all.

The midfield is slow and ponderous no real energy to play on he front foot and move the ball quicker through the lines.

Nothing is sticking with Piroe and he doesn't have the pace to chase the channels. Ncham proves again he is better off the bench. Need some pace and outlets. I would bring Oko on now to give us some joy down the right.

10 subs needed.

Seriously even I could attack at our pace.

Not one positive thought. This looks like a 6 point relegation battle than play off.

I use the term battle loosely.

Ok, on the plus side, it can’t get much worse and we have been a second half team lately, specialising in nicking things towards the death. Can we take Ntcham off and bring him back on again?

Trying to think on how to rescue this.
I feel that 4 at the back and overloading the midfield/wings is the way forward here.

Cabango off for Okoflex to play on the right wing.
Cundle off for Cooper to play on the left with Ntcham shifted to play more in the middle as a 10.

A pretty poor first half but half of my enjoyment of any game is sucked out of it when watching anything by Swans TV, surely by now we could at least send commentators to the actual game

Watching on sky red button, the most enjoyable part when the screen froze for a while before HT

Half time thoughts:

A howler from Darling results in their goal but the worst defender by far has been Ben - gave the ball away about half a dozen times in that half alone under zero pressure and consistently passing to the wrong side of players killing momentum and leaving players who are already defensively minded with only a backwards pass as an option.

Piroe looks like a striker who is struggling for confidence, not as involved in buildup as he usually is and not helped by zero energy in the press or movement from the supporting players behind him.

I had hoped that we would see a statement performance from Ntcham that he can start well in games but his movement and energy in the press is a far cry from what Cooper offers. Cundle is so anonymous I had to check the lineup to remember he is on the pitch.

The lack of pace and attack minded players is glaringly obvious, if we don't see Oko-Flex at half time or at worst at 60 minutes then I honestly don't know what to say.

Cooper needs to come on for Cundle and move Ntcham to the right. Cabango off for Oko and Piroe for Obafemi. Lati to centre back. Risky, but we’re offering nothing and Ben might well do another yellow here.

We really need to speak about Cabango. If we are serious about having ball playing defenders then he shouldn't be in the team. He's leaden-footed, looks really uncomfortable with the ball at his feet, and has periods were he just gives the ball away repeatedly. And he's already on a yellow as a result of being caught on the wrong side of his man. Shocking.

Brady has the freedom of the park down our right.

I don’t think it’s about one side or the other, it’s just a poor team selection playing badly. When you think of all the pace and talent that haven’t made it in the pitch tonight questions have to be asked of the manager. Very Cooperesque.

Ha. You could have saved me some typing if I’d seen that.

Wyndham just said “you can’t win unless we get the equaliser”. Genius.
